The theme for Earth Day 2021 is “restore our planet”. This is the perfect opportunity to ask ourselves and our speakers if our government’s climate bill will restore our planet and its people.
Just Transition Greens in collaboration with Fridays For Future, Stop Climate Chaos and Safety Before LNG are inviting you to a public meeting and discussion to raise awareness of The Climate Action and Low Carbon Development (Amendment) Bill 2021. While overall there is an agreement to say that the climate bill is a step in the right direction in the fight against climate change, it is recognised that there are still some weaknesses to the bill.
