Les Voyageuses is an international group exhibition exploring human migration through the movement of plants, their acclimatisation and dissemination, and the stories that accompany them. Bringing together artists from France and the international art scene, the exhibition considers the connections between plant journeys and human movement, raising questions around migration, belonging, adaptation and place.
The exhibition takes place across four venues at Université Grenoble Alpes:
House of Creation and Innovation (MaCI) – 339 Avenue Centrale, Saint-Martin-d’Hères
Joseph Fourier University Library – 1 Avenue Centrale, Saint-Martin-d’Hères
Law and Humanities University Library – 1130 Avenue Centrale, Saint-Martin-d’Hères
Medicine and Pharmacy University Library – Domaine de la Merci, La Tronche
Guided tours with co-curator Eugenia Reznik: 24 November, 3 December and 10 December at 12pm.
The exhibition is presented as part of the Résonance programme associated with the 18th Lyon Biennale.
