Seedarium
2022
Seedarium is a sculptural installation that houses seeds preserved in bioresin, each one a gift from gardeners, growers, and conservationists across the world. Inspired by sacred spaces such as the Sanctuary of Hope in Spain and the Global Seed Vault in Norway, the work reflects on themes of preservation, reverence, and potential. While the seeds are no longer viable, they are not inert—they embody stories, relationships, and acts of care. Rather than cataloguing botanical data, Seedarium evokes a deeper, more relational connection to the natural world, where seeds are honoured as symbols of reciprocity and kinship. It is a quiet, contemplative work that invites reflection on our responsibilities to the living world—not through control or containment, but through acts of attention, generosity, and shared belonging.
Exhibited at DLR Lexicon Municipal Gallery 2022, LHQ Gallery 2023, National Botanic Gardens 2024, Glór 2025.
